Hackmanite is a highly Fluorescent Sodalite containing Sodium Sulphide instead of Sodium Chloride. This unusual and rare mineral Fluoresces bright flame yellow/ orange but also exhibits Tenebrescence, the quality of changing color in different light. Keep it in a dark room for a few minutes and when you bring it into the light watch as sections of the specimen turn from white to lavender.
