Amber is fossilized tree sap from any age. Amber from the last few million years is sometimes called Copal. Other fossils are sometimes found encased in Amber; Insects, Leaves, Twigs, Bark from trees and even Frogs and Lizzards have been found. Amber polishes polishes very nicely making fine beads and stones for jewelry.
