A selection of minerals and fossils that light up under Ultraviolet Light. This section also offers UV Flashlights.   Important Note: It has come to my attention that not everyone sees the same colors in the minerals under UV light. In the descriptions of products in this section I have noted the colors that I see. Evidently based on experiment with a number of people it is possible that some see different colors and others may see little or no color. An additional complicating factor is the huge variation in the quality of UV lights. In taking the individual product pictures I have used either a 385 nanometer, 51 LED flashlight or a 365 nanometer, 1 watt maglight.
